Blue wraps worn, front cover tearing at spine with many library markings. Journal of James A. Sparks (born 1837), son of David Wallace Sparks and Nancy Marks of Clarke County, Ohio. James married Nancy Ann Heaton in Greene County, Indiana; some of their descendants lived in Kansas and Oklahoma. This volume contains the journal 1886-1892, minutes of the Leesburgh Farmer's Alliance meetings 1889-1891, and a transcript of the 1880 census for York Township in Stafford County, Kansas.
